Rus Savitar Factories

The company started its activity in 1994 as a furniture retailer, shortly becoming one of the biggest furniture importers and dealers in Romania. In 2004, the logistics center from which the merchandise is distributed to over 200 stores in the country is inaugurated.

In 2005, the first investment in laminate furniture production is made, its quantum reaching 3.5 million Euros. In 2007, the project for the second factory is started, with a five times bigger production capacity than the first factory. In 2010, the project for the first upholstered furniture factory within the group is finalized, the quantum of the investment being 1.5 million Euros. -
The factory has a capacity of 2000 upholstered furniture sets (couches, corner sofas, beds and miniature furniture). Currently, the Rus Savitar factories employ approximately 400 workers. To this end, four completely automatized production lines were purchased, which represent the top technology in laminate furniture production in Europe, one of these lines being unique in Eastern Europe. The quantum of the investment is as high as 11 million Euros. In 2008, the project for the second factory is finalized. The factory becomes functional in September 2008, with a production capacity of 15 000 furniture sets a month. Currently, the Rus Savitar company is the second largest laminate furniture producer in Romania, with a total production capacity of 18 000 laminate furniture sets/month and 2000 upholstered furniture sets/month, the production and logistic activity covering a 100 000 square meters area.
